While the speed of seizing the funds has slowed down, there’s still millions and millions of dollars in Sacramento that belong to you. There’s an online database for the Unclaimed Property Office of the State Controller. Just enter your name and see if something comes up. If you do have something there, you will need to complete a form and send proof but you will get your money back if you do so.
